What happens next…

You will receive an e-mail from our aftersales team within the next 24 business hours

(Monday – Friday 9-5pm) confirming receipt of your issue/concern.

Following on from this E-mail you will be advised on where and how to book your vehicle in for diagnostics. From this point you will have 14 days to make this booking. Please do not drive the vehicle if this could cause further issues.

Once a booking has been confirmed and approved by S James Prestige, we will contact the garage directly ahead of the appointment for authorisation of diagnostics. Please note S James Prestige will cover the first hour of diagnostics to a maximum of £150 per hour if a warrantable fault is found.

Once your vehicle is with the garage for diagnostics, S James Prestige will liaise directly with the garage to ascertain the findings.

If a warranted fault is found S James Prestige will authorise the repair, once the repair is complete S James Prestige will pay the garage directly. Under certain circumstances, we may dictate which garage the vehicle needs to go to either for costing purposes or repair reliability being in question. Please refer to your original warranty documents for all warrantable items.

Please do not approve any work/s prior to consulting with S James Prestige. S James prestige will liaise with the garage directly to approve any repairs if necessary. If no warranted fault is found S James Prestige will not cover any diagnostic or repair costs. Only one diagnostic fee is covered per claim. S James Prestige do not cover vehicle health checks, vehicle safety inspections and wear and tear items such as brake discs, pads and tyres.

Please note, all payments will be made directly to the garage once a VAT invoice has been issued.
